Hittade på Alafista, de berättade om slottet Matsumoto

Vi var på denna underbara plats, det är vackrare än vad det syns på bilden, De berättade lite om historian och jag ville också dela med mig av den så här kommer den:

"Matsumoto Castle [松本城], Japan’s oldest wooden castle tower constructed more than 400 years ago,  is one of four castles designated as a national treasure, the others being Himeji Castle, Inuyama  Castle and Hikone Castle.

Shimadachi Sadanaga of the Ogasawara clan built Fukashi Castle on this site between 1504 and 1508, during the late Sengoku or “Warring States” period. The original fortress was taken by the Takeda clan in 1550, and then by Tokugawa Ieyasu (the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate).

It is rather unique because it was built on flat land beside a swamp, rather than being on a mountain or between rivers. The lack of natural defenses meant that this castle had to be extremely well-constructed in order to protect the people living inside.

Inside the castle are step stairs and low ceilings leading past displays of armor and weapons from the Sengoku period (“Warring-States”) when the castle was build. The narrow wooden windows, once used by archers and gunmen, provide amazing views of the Japanese Alps, Matsumoto City and the koi and swans circling in the moat below."
